Rewandr is an innovative trip planning app that targets experiences and memories, instead of planning flights and hotel bookings. Unlike other trip planning apps, Rewandr helps travellers decide what they really want to explore in a playful and personal way.

Users let Rewandr know where they’re headed (or where they’re already at), how much time they have available, and their interests, from nature and food to secret museums and local experiences. Within seconds, a user receives a personalized questbook: a customized series of travel quests for their adventure. Quests represent a series of missions in the real world for a user to fulfill that lead them to everything from major attractions to offbeat areas that won’t rather be found in travel guides.

Rewandr does everything for big trips, quick stops, and everyday life. It can power a big trip to a new city, handle a weekend city getaway, fill a 1-3 hour stop in a random town with a mini adventure, and help locals rediscover their city via local and long-term questbooks. As users complete quests, they capture each moment with photos in the app, building up a living questbook they can come back to after the trip.

The app stays out of bookings and reservations. Users are free to continue using other favorite services for flight, hotels, and itineraries. The role of Rewandr remains alongside others as experience layers, focusing on what to do, where to go, and keeping those memories. We would later involve printed questbooks and quest cards, adding physical keepsakes as an additional layer of memories and experience.

Fundamentally, Rewandr begins with a simple concept: traveling should never be about reliving TikToks and Reels, or checking off boxes. A trip should be about a story that really did happen. Rewandr helps turn this story in a questbook.

Our story

Rewandr started as a homemade gift. During one family vacation, the founder created a simple, home-printed book loaded with travel tasks and small quests. Every page had room for a Polaroid photo, and every completed mission turned into a memory to literally be stuck into the book.

That little experiment turned the trip into something much more interactive and memorable. The book quickly became a treasure full of moments that the family would revisit together. Too good idea to only use once, and as an engineer, the obvious next step for the founder was to turn that concept into a product. One that could work for anyone, anywhere.

Early prototypes for Rewandr were still physical: printed questbooks and cards tested with friends and other travelers. The feedback was invariably enthusiastic. The quests made trips feel more meaningful, more playful, and easier to remember. That validation led to the current Rewandr app: a digital way to automatically create those questbooks, powered by location data and AI.

Today, Rewandr is still driven by one very simple belief: travel deserves more than infinite scrolling and generic checklists. It needs to feel like a story you were part of, and a story you get to come back to later.
